Call for Applications – LAB OF CULTURAL, CREATIVE AND FESTIVAL JOURNALISM

Once again this year, the MIOB festival network, of which Crossing Europe, Palić Film Festival, FilmFestival Cottbus, Scanorama Film Festival, Les Arcs Film Festival and Trieste Film Festival are members, is launching the call to participate in the fifth edition of the LAB OF CULTURAL, CREATIVE AND FESTIVAL JOURNALISM! We are looking for young journalists for this edition at European Film Festival Palić (Serbia).

From this edition, the Lab will be held in collaboration with Cineuropa, one of the leading platforms for European cinema.

The Lab is a unique opportunity to participate in a festival with a press accreditation, coached alongside other fellow young journalists! Participants will be able to report on the festival’s activities, interview participating talents, and publish their articles on the MIOB and festivals’ websites.

Thanks to the collaboration with Cineuropa, young journalists will be invited to write reviews, articles, and reports about the films screened and the festival experience, with the most outstanding contribution — selected by the committee — to be kindly featured and published on Cineuropa as a special recognition of the author’s talent and commitment.

Participants will train, learn new skills, watch films, meet people and… have a lot of fun!

The project includes in-person attendance at Palić Film Festival in Palić, Serbia for 5 days (4 nights), from 18th to 22nd of July 2026. with EFF Palić covering full board accommodation and travel costs.
