Nenad Kuruzović is a former member of the secret services. He leads the quiet life of a retired man, living in an apartment with his dog. The only company he has is his neighbor Olivera, a French teacher. Ten years earlier, Nenad's wife was killed in an ambush intended for him. Nenad had been on the trail of a big drug dealer, however, after the death of the innocent woman, the criminal fled across the border. Disappointed in the service and the government that allowed the criminal to escape, Nenad leaves the service and takes early retirement. The story begins when the drug dealer returns to Belgrade, and the service contacts Nenad and asks him for liquidation, counting on his desire for revenge. Although, ever eager for revenge, Nenad is not enthusiastic about the proposal. On the same day, he receives an immoral offer from the criminal Marković.
