Ellias Barnès is 30 years old and is the newly-announced artistic director of a famous Parisian fashion house. But he starts experiencing increased chest pain along with the increasing expectations of his boss. At the same time, he unexpectedly receives an invitation to return to Montreal and organize the funeral of his estranged father. Along the way, he discovers that he may have inherited much worse than his father's weak heart.
