BATA IN 90 PICTURES

 BATA IN 90 PICTURES

The exhibition “Bata in 90 Pictures” commemorating the 90th anniversary of the birth of Yugoslavian and Serbian cinematography legend, Velimir Bata Živojinović, is a journey through the life of this unforgettable artist. It takes us on a journey through his early steps, through moments of fame and recognition, through the days when he became our hero on the movie screen.

Bata Živojinović was not only an actor, but a wizard with words and emotions. With his charisma and talent, he managed to charm and deeply touch us with his artistic expression that spanned five decades. Through this exhibition, which consists of 90 carefully selected pictures, we open the door to his world, where each frame represents a part of his passion and dedication to art.

In addition to being an icon of cinematography, Bata has also become a part of our personal tales, deeply rooted in Serbian culture and history.

This is a traveling exhibition and, as such, has visited several cities in Serbia so far. After Republika Srpska and Belgrade, the exhibition continued its journey through our country, and as he was a man of the people, the Živojinović family thought that this was a way for Bata to be close to his people again. The exhibition continues to thrive this year as well, as audiences from Serbia to distant China have not forgotten the famous Walter.

The display of the exhibition consists of photographs from the rich archive of the "Borba" magazine, and the exhibition was made in cooperation between the magazine and the Živojinović family, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.
