The 31st EFF Palić – Announcement of Events for the Seventh Day

On the seventh and final day of the festival, Friday, July 26, at the Summer Stage in Palić, the festival awards will be given to the best European films at 9:00 p.m., after which Quentin Dupieux's film "The Second Act" will be screened out of competition in the Official Selection program.

In the Special Screenings program, the documentary film "Warm Film" directed by Dragan Jovićević will be screened at the Abazija Cinema at 6 p.m.

In the New Hungarian Film section, the film “Semmelweis” is scheduled at the Eurocinema in Subotica at 7 p.m. Two films will be screened at the Lifka Art Cinema in Subotica: in the Eco Dox program at 5 p.m.

Marta Kovářová’s “The World According to My Dad”, which captures the joint dream of a material physicist and his artist daughter for an effective solution to save the planet; and in the New European Documentary Film program at 7 p.m., the film “Ricardo and Painting” by Barbet Schroeder.

The EFA Shorts program will include screenings of films “27” by Flora Ana Buda, ”Remember how I used to ride a white horse” by Ivana Bošnjak Volda and Thomas Johnson Volda, “The Birthday Party” by Francesco Sossai, “There are people in the forest” by Szymon Ruczyński, and “Zoon” by Jonatan Schwenk, which will be shown at the “Mira Banjac” Hall of the Abazija Cinema in Palić beginning at 5 p.m.

At 11 p.m., the final festival party will be held at the Abazija Cinema.

Tickets for the Official Selection program cost 300 dinars for a one-day pass covering two films. They can be purchased at the Summer Stage box office from July 20 to 26, 2024, starting at 8:00 p.m. In case of bad weather, films from the competition program will be screened at the Eurocinema (Open University of Subotica, 15 Tzar Jovan Nenad Square) at the scheduled times. Admission to all other festival screenings is free!
